This project was undertaken for the McFarland Village, in collaboration with a former Madison College student, Ben Becs. Our joint endeavor was dedicated to celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. Our objective was to honor diverse cultures that have achieved freedom and independence. To achieve this, we designed and crafted unique papel picado representations, each showcasing distinct cultural motifs and designs. My role involved creating the assets in Illustrator, while Ben animated them for broadcast on television and social media platforms. This collaborative effort aimed to promote cultural appreciation and awareness, underscoring the rich tapestry of heritage during this significant month of recognition.
